X-Fest est un festival de musique annuel organisé dans divers lieux aux États-Unis par les stations de radio Clear Channel Communications . Il présente des groupes de rock alternatif , de hard rock , de heavy metal , de grunge et de rock industriel .
Noblesville, Indiana
L'événement est organisé par la station de radio X103 d' Indianapolis et se tient depuis 1995 au Klipsch Music Center (anciennement Verizon Wireless Music Center et Deer Creek Amphitheatre), à environ 25 miles au nord-est du centre-ville d'Indianapolis dans la banlieue de Noblesville . Depuis sa création, l'Indianapolis-Noblesville X-Fest a attiré environ un quart de million de personnes.

Le premier festival de 2005 devait avoir lieu le 27 mai à l'amphithéâtre Chevrolet. Ce serait la première année que le festival ne se tiendrait pas au Pavillon Post-Gazette. Cependant, l'événement, qui comprenait Social Distortion , My Chemical Romance , Sum 41 , Unwrite Law et Thirty Seconds to Mars , n'a pas reçu le nom du X-Fest. Sum 41 devait jouer ce spectacle, mais a été contraint d'annuler le jour de la maladie dans le groupe. Le festival a eu lieu plus tard dans l'année au pavillon Post-Gazette.
